Baydha: The Afar Customs Office in the central districts of Baydha Governorate organized a speech and cultural event today to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Governor of Baydha, Abdullah Idris, highlighted the importance of the occasion, emphasizing themes of pride, dignity, and steadfastness in confronting adversaries. He underscored the significance of celebrating the Prophet’s birth as a reflection of the Yemeni people’s deep connection to the Messenger of Allah and emphasized that these celebrations capture global attention with their fervor.
Governor Idris further elaborated on how the commemoration strengthens the bond to the Prophet’s teachings and spirit, advocating for jihad as the path to protect the nation and preserve its dignity. He also stressed the need to support the Yemeni armed forces and the widespread movement in support of Gaza, aligning with the revolutionary options presented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
The event, attended by Deputy Governors Abdullah al-Jamali and Ahmed al-Shaiba, featured speeches from officials like Customs Director Shuaib al-Shatibi, who called for broad participation in the celebrations. He noted that the event serves as a renewal of loyalty to the Prophet and an opportunity to draw inspiration from his life.
Additionally, Amin al-Jabri, Director of Financial Affairs at the port, emphasized the nation’s need for unity and solidarity, drawing lessons from the Prophet’s life to overcome challenges and reclaim rights. The event was enriched with poems and songs celebrating the occasion.
