Sana'a: Members of the Executive Units for Road Construction and Maintenance, and the Financing of Agricultural Projects and Initiatives in the Capital Secretariat organized a stand on Saturday to show support for the Holy Qur'an and Al-Aqsa Mosque. The event was held under the slogan: 'Out of anger for the Qur'an, the holy sites, in support of Gaza and Palestine.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the stand saw participation from the two deputy heads of the Capital Secretariat, Eng. Abdulkarim al-Houthi and Mohammed Saree, who vehemently condemned the actions of American offender Jake Lang, who burned a copy of the Holy Qur'an in Michigan, USA. The participants expressed their outrage and strong opposition to the continued insults by America and Zionists against the Holy Qur'an and the ongoing Israeli violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The attendees reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their commitment to the Holy Qur'an. They emphasized their steadfast support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, Gaza, and the Palestinian people, along with their solidarity with Lebanon and Hezbollah fighters.
A statement from the stand, delivered by Deputy Minister al-Houthi, urged all Arab and Islamic communities to take substantial action against the Zionist agenda aimed at Islam and its holy sites. It called for a comprehensive boycott of American and Israeli products.
The statement also denounced the repeated insults against the Holy Qur'an and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It praised Hezbollah's strong stance against the 'temporary entity' and affirmed Iran's right to respond to the actions of the US and Israel. Additionally, it highlighted the success of summer activities and urged support for closing ceremonies, student honors, and Eid support convoys for fighters engaged in sacred jihad.
