Sanaa: The General Directorate of Traffic Police has instructed its branches to take action against individuals who block public roads during commercial shop opening events.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Traffic Police stated that some shop owners organize promotional openings without prior coordination, causing traffic congestion and obstructing public movement. Authorities stressed that legal measures will be taken against violators, including halting events and closing non-compliant establishments.
Shop owners were urged to adhere to regulations and avoid using streets and sidewalks for events, emphasizing that public roads are designated for traffic flow and public service.
