Tribal Gathering in Ibb’s Al-Odain Reaffirms Mobilization to Face Challenges

Sana'a: A large tribal gathering was held on Wednesday in Al-Odain District of Ibb Governorate, reaffirming popular readiness and mobilization in response to a call by Houthi leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and as part of ongoing mobilization efforts, support amid the conflict and blockade.

According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering, attended by Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah, Shura Council member Tariq al-Mufti, Al-Odain District Director Sinan Al-Sinan, and deputy mobilization official Abdullah Al-Waeli, saw residents and tribesmen express their readiness to continue supporting the frontlines with personnel and resources and to stand alongside the armed forces.

Governor Salah stated the tribal gathering reflected public awareness and social solidarity, praising the role of Al-Odain tribes in supporting resilience and steadfastness.

The district director emphasized the gathering demonstrated the unity and cohesion of Al-Odain residents, stressing continued efforts to enhance community mobilization and awareness programs.

A statement issued by the gathering announced a general mobilization, continuation of public mobilization activities, increased preparedness, and participation in training programs.

The statement also affirmed support for the leadership's positions, commitment to national unity, and readiness to confront what it described as threats to Yemen's sovereignty. It condemned attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and expressed solidarity with causes facing occupation and aggression.

The statement called for strengthening unity, coordination, and preparedness to protect national gains and achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people for freedom and sovereignty.
