Dhamar: The Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring Center recorded two minor earthquakes in the Gulf of Aden and Dhamar Governorate early this morning.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's monitoring stations reported an earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale east of the Gulf of Aden at 4:24 AM. The statement from the agency added that a second earthquake, also minor in magnitude, measured 2.1 on the Richter scale at 4:08 AM, with its epicenter located 9 kilometers east of Ma'bar city in Dhamar Governorate.
These seismic events fall within the range of minor tremors that the region occasionally experiences, indicating ongoing tectonic activity in the area.
