US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Leaves Trail of Destruction and Casualties on May 19

Sana'a: On this day, May 19, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of raids on citizens' homes, farms, and infrastructure, leaving martyrs, wounded, and widespread destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression's air force has been responsible for numerous airstrikes across various regions over the years, resulting in significant loss of life and property. On May 19, 2015, airstrikes led to the death of nine citizens and injured others in Ibb Governorate, while in Saada District, homes and the Republican Palace were targeted. The aggression extended to several districts, including Dhale', Hajjah, and Sana'a, with over 100 airstrikes reported in Saada alone.

In subsequent years, the aggression continued with airstrikes and artillery shelling in various governorates. On May 19, 2016, a woman was killed and another injured due to airstrikes and rocket attacks in Saada and Dhale'. The following year, in 2017, airstrikes in Hajjah Governorate resulted in the death of seven children from one family, while other areas experienced similar devastation.

The aggression's impact remained severe in the years that followed. On May 19, 2018, airstrikes targeted areas in Sana'a and Saada, accompanied by artillery shelling in Razih district. In 2019, further civilian casualties were reported in Dhale' and Hodeida due to missile and artillery attacks.

The year 2020 saw continued airstrikes and artillery shelling across Saada, Hajjah, Jawf, and Hodeida, causing further damage to civilian properties. In 2021, injuries were reported due to unexploded ordnance and ongoing airstrikes in Sana'a and Saada, with significant artillery bombardment in Hodeida.

By May 19, 2022, the aggression's aircraft continued to target civilian areas in Al Bayda and Dhale', while mercenary forces established fortifications and conducted artillery shelling in Marib and Saada, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
