In 2018, airstrikes on Kamaran Island and other locations in Hodeida Governorate resulted in civilian casualties and property damage. By 2019, the aggression's air force maintained its offensive with raids across Saada and Hodeida governorates, while mercenaries heavily shelled civilian areas, causing widespread damage. The pattern of aggression continued into 2020 with numerous airstrikes across several districts, severely impacting civilian areas and infrastructure. On June 11, 2021, airstrikes and artiller y shelling persisted, causing injuries and damage in Marib, Sana'a, and Saada governorates. Mercenaries shelled Hodeida Governorate, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. The following year, mercenaries established combat fortifications and continued their offensive across multiple governorates, targeting civilian homes and infrastructure. Most recently, on June 11, 2023, mercenaries established combat positions in Hodeida Governorate and shelled various areas, continuing the pattern of aggression and highlighting the ongoing plight of the Yemeni people.
