US-Saudi-Emirati Airstrikes Cause Destruction and Casualties in Yemen

Sana'a: On this day, June 4, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of airstrikes on several governorates, resulting in casualties and injuries, as well as massive destruction of infrastructure and public and private property.

According to Yemen News Agency, on June 4, 2015, 42 citizens were killed and eight others were injured, most of them women and children, as a result of airstrikes by the aggression on the Saber area in the Sahar district of Saada governorate. Additionally, seven citizens were killed in airstrikes targeting several homes in the Majz district.

Six citizens were killed and dozens were injured when residential homes were destroyed, and others damaged. A fire broke out in the rented electricity generators of the Al-Ahram Company, located near the Al-Kamb area, due to airstrikes on several residential neighborhoods in the city of Hodeida.

In Dhamar city, two civilians, one of them a woman, were killed, and 12 others, including three children, were injured. The airstrikes also damaged Dhamar General Hospital and several homes. In Ibb governorate, a woman was killed while herding sheep in an airstrike on the village of Al-Sijjar, with another airstrike targeting the village of Muharrab.

Two civilians were killed in several airstrikes on farms in the Midi district of Hajjah governorate. Airstrikes also targeted areas in Aden, Sana'a, and Taiz governorates, causing further destruction and casualties.

In subsequent years, the aggression continued with similar patterns of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and attacks on various governorates, resulting in numerous deaths, injuries, and destruction of infrastructure. Notable incidents include the targeting of a cholera treatment center, water projects, schools, gas stations, and residential areas.

The ongoing conflict has seen repeated attacks on strategic locations, civilian properties, and populated areas, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. The aggression's air force and mercenaries have consistently targeted critical infrastructure, leading to significant civilian casualties and displacement.
