Jihanah: The Women's Authority in the Jihanah district of Sana'a governorate organized a protest today expressing anger over the burning of the Holy Quran and extending support to the Palestinian people and Lebanon. The demonstration denounced repeated American-Zionist actions targeting the sanctities of the Islamic nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants strongly condemned the recent act by an American who burned a copy of the Holy Quran, describing it as a hostile act rooted in hatred towards Islam and Muslims. They emphasized that this offense is part of a broader American-Zionist agenda aimed at inciting hatred and distorting the image of Islam, in conjunction with ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
The protestors linked the Quran burning to ongoing aggression in Palestine and Lebanon, asserting that these acts are interconnected, with direct American support and international silence enabling them. The participants highlighted the role of Yemeni women in raising awareness and supporting the Holy Quran, reinforcing faith-based values in society.
A statement from the protest declared that adherence to the Holy Quran is essential for humanity to resist oppressive forces. It emphasized the importance of confronting the Zionist project as both a religious duty and a human necessity to safeguard homelands and dignity.
The statement reaffirmed steadfastness in confronting American-Israeli aggression, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and called for continued support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and Lebanese mujahideen. It urged the Islamic nation to take action against Zionist schemes and protect Islamic sanctities.
The statement also called for ongoing women's and popular events to support the Holy Quran, Palestine, and Lebanon, encouraging unity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and a steadfast commitment to dignity against American and Zionist projects.
