Beirut: The Yemen Radio and Television Corporation has expressed its deepest condolences following the martyrdom of journalists Ali Shoaib and Fatima Fatoni. Shoaib, a correspondent for Al-Manar Channel, and Fatoni, a correspondent for Al-Mayadeen Channel, lost their lives while covering ongoing battles between the Islamic Resistance and the Zionist forces in southern Lebanon.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Corporation released a statement praising the continuous contributions of Al-Manar and Al-Mayadeen. The statement specifically noted the sacrifices made by these journalists on the battlefield, emphasizing how their blood mingled with that of the resistance fighters. The martyrdom of Ali Shoaib was described as a noble reward for his devoted service, acknowledging his role as the eyes of the resistance since the Liberation War. Shoaib was recognized for his steadfast documentation of Israeli crimes against the people of southern Lebanon, up to and including the current battles during the Al-Aqsa Flood.

The Corporation also lauded Al-Mayadeen Channel for its significant sacrifices and contributions, including its martyrs and wounded, which are seen as pivotal in the pursuit of victory. The targeting of these journalists was cited as evidence of the Zionist enemy's deliberate attacks against media professionals, underscoring the righteousness of the cause pursued by free journalists.

All sectors of the Corporation, including channels and radio stations, affirmed their solidarity with Al-Manar and Al-Mayadeen. They expressed readiness to cooperate and provide full support to their colleagues. The Corporation extended heartfelt condolences to the staff of Al-Manar, the family of Ali Shoaib, the team at Al-Mayadeen, especially Chairman Ghassan Ben Jeddo, and the resistant media community for their dedication and sacrifice.
