Yemeni Scholars Association Mourns the Passing of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Muqrami

Sana'a: The Association of Yemeni Scholars mourned, on behalf of the Islamic nation in general and the Yemeni people in particular, the passing of the erudite scholar, devoted servant of God and His Messenger, and preacher Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Muqrami.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Muqrami was one of the prominent figures of Yemen in general, and of Taiz in particular, whose sermons were attentively heard and whose words touched hearts. He passed away while holding good expectations of God and yearning for His presence.

The association highlighted that the deceased embodied the humility, asceticism, and simplicity of a true scholar, and was keen to guide people to the Book of God with sincere intentions. The love and respect people held for him remain alive, as he devotedly offered advice to all Muslims.

The Yemeni Scholars Association affirmed that the death of Sheikh Al-Muqrami is a great loss to the Islamic nation and a noticeable gap in the field of religious guidance during this critical period.

The association extended its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased, his students, admirers, and followers, praying to God to grant him forgiveness, divine pleasure, the highest ranks in Paradise, and the best recompense for his service to Islam and Muslims: 'Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return.'
