Hajjah: The Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research for the Higher Education Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, conducted an inspection of the educational process at Al-Manar University College in Hajjah Governorate. Dr. Luqman, along with the President of Hajjah University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Khalid, received a briefing from Abdullah Al-Haddad, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, regarding the college's various departments, laboratories, library, classrooms, control unit, and both administrative and academic facilities.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Luqman commended the modern equipment and capabilities at the college, which he noted meet contemporary academic requirements. He affirmed the Ministry's commitment to addressing any challenges the college might face to ensure it effectively fulfills its educational and academic mission. Al-Haddad expressed his gratitude for the Ministry's ongoing support in enhancing education and its dedication to improving the learning process.
The inspection team also included the Ministry's advisor Hassan Al-Houthi and the provincial Education Sector official Ali Al-Qutayb. During the visit, Dr. Luqman inaugurated the Virtual Courtroom at Al-Manar University College. He engaged with students and staff from the Sharia and Law Department, who demonstrated the procedures of legal advocacy and conducted a mock trial within the virtual court.
Dr. Luqman highlighted the significance of this initiative in providing practical training to students, equipping them with strong professional skills necessary for the job market through realistic simulation of the judicial environment. The visit concluded with the presentation of the college's shield to the Deputy Minister, recognizing his efforts to advance higher education.
