Sana’a: The Minister of Youth, Sports and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mawlad, honored the graduates of the second level of Al-Badr College for the Holy Qur’an and Sharia Sciences in a ceremony held in Sana’a. A total of 180 students from the Bani Al-Harith and Al-Thawra districts were celebrated for their accomplishments.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony took place at the theater of the Orphan Foundation, where Minister Al-Mawlad emphasized the vital role of Qur’anic schools and colleges in fostering a connection with the Book of God. He highlighted the importance of nurturing a generation enriched with Qur’anic culture, useful sciences, and knowledge. The focus, he noted, was on following the path of truth, embracing the culture, morals, and values espoused by the Qur’an, and shielding the community from the perceived threats posed by the enemies of Islam.
In attendance was the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Sports Sector, Ali Hadban, who joined Minister Al-Mawlad in commending the teachers for their dedication to the educational mission. The minister offered congratulations to the graduates for their successful association with the Book of God.
Dr. Ali Al-Ma’anqi, Director of the Youth Center for Training and Development, lauded the progress of Al-Badr College and Schools for the Holy Qur’an and Sharia Sciences. He recognized these institutions as crucial educational incubators that provide opportunities for youth to memorize the Qur’an, study its meanings, and cultivate a Qur’anic cultural and faith-based identity within the community.
Dr. Al-Ma’anqi also stressed the significance of nurturing a generation grounded in values and fortified with Qur’anic culture, who cherish their religion and identity. He warned against the influence of misleading cultural platforms and media outlets that propagate alien ideologies, which he described as threats from countries of aggression and enemies of the nation.
