Al-Bayda: The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, met with Mohammed Al-Saeedi, the president of Shabab Malah Sports, Cultural, and Social Club in Al-Arsh District, Al-Bayda Province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Assistant Deputy Minister, Dr. Jaber Al-Bawab, and the President of Al-Bayda University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami. During the meeting, Minister Al-Mawlad received a report from the club president detailing the club's current conditions and its activities in sports, cultural, and social fields. The discussion also highlighted the main challenges the club faces and the essential needs required to expand its programs and achieve its goals.
Minister Al-Mawlad acknowledged the efforts of Shabab Malah Club's administration in promoting youth and sports activities in the district. He stressed the importance of enhancing community awareness programs, especially in rural clubs, which are crucial for building a conscious and active generation that can contribute positively to society and the nation.
He emphasized the critical role clubs play in nurturing young individuals, developing their talents, instilling values, and fostering a spirit of initiative. The Minister encouraged club administrations to intensify their efforts and take full responsibility for activating regular and sustainable activities, thereby contributing to the clubs' developmental, awareness-raising, and custodial roles within society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the president of Shabab Malah Club honored Minister Al-Mawlad in recognition of his efforts in supporting and sponsoring clubs, as well as his continuous interest in promoting youth and sports activities across various governorates.
The club's administration also honored Dr. Al-Arami, President of Al-Bayda University, for his ongoing support for the club's activities and his fruitful cooperation with youth groups in the region. Businessman Mohammed Al-Yadoumi was recognized for his role in sponsoring the club's activities and supporting its annual sports league, which includes clubs from Al-Bayda and neighboring provinces. The tenth edition of the league is expected to launch soon.
