Zakat al-Fitr and Cash Assistance Projects Launched in Rural Ibb

Sana'a: Ibb Governor Qasim Al-Masawi inaugurated two projects to distribute Zakat al-Fitr and cash assistance to poor and unemployed individuals in the directorate. The projects, implemented by the Zakat Commission office, aim to support 2,528 cases with a total of 50 million and 560,000 riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Al-Masawi highlighted that the initiative is in line with directives from Revolution Leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council. The Zakat Office director, Abdul Raqib al-Humairi, stated that the Zakat al-Fitr distribution project targets 2,245 poor and needy individuals with 44 million and 900 riyals. Additionally, 283 unemployed people will benefit from the monthly subsidy project, receiving 5 million and 660,000 riyals.

Al-Humairi noted that the distribution is conducted through post offices in the province center. He described the projects as a successful approach to addressing the needs of the poor and needy, particularly during challenging times.
