Al-Dhale':The Acting Governor of Al-Dhale', Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, has called on residents to draw lessons from the October 14 Revolution to confront foreign occupiers in the region. He emphasized the need to expel these forces and end their dominance in the southern and eastern provinces.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shaghdari described the revolution as a significant moment in the nation's struggle for freedom and independence, recalling the British occupation's exploitation and oppression of the Yemeni people. He asserted that the people of the southern provinces would thwart the opportunistic schemes of new occupiers, accusing the current government of undermining Yemen's sovereignty by serving foreign interests.
Al-Shaghdari highlighted recent victories by Yemeni armed forces against Saudi military operations along Yemen's coast and in Al-Jawf, Taiz, and Hodeidah. He stressed the importance of unity among Yemenis to expel occupying forces, especially from the southern and eastern regions.
He urged those misled into opposition to return under the general amnesty and avoid falling into Saudi plans. Al-Shaghdari also called on tribal leaders in the southern and eastern provinces to resist Saudi influence and prevent their sons from being drawn into conflicts.
Al-Shaghdari reiterated that the Yemeni people's struggle is against the Saudi forces, which he accuses of threatening all Yemenis. He assured that the South has nothing to fear from Sana'a but rather from foreign occupiers exploiting the region.
He also connected the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution to the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, emphasizing its significance in Palestinian history and expressing pride in the revolutionary leader's support for Palestine amid ongoing conflicts that violate international laws and moral standards.
