Al-Saeed Educational Complex in Ibb Celebrates Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday with Student Festival

Ibb: Al-Saeed Educational Complex in Al-Dhehar district of Ibb governorate on Wednesday held a student festival for female students to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the complex's courtyards were filled with festive and spiritual scenes, as the students wore their uniform, raised banners and flags bearing Muhammadan symbols, and chanted prayers and blessings upon the Noble Prophet. Their voices also resonated with religious chants and praises of the Prophet, reflecting the occasion's presence in the educational and community consciousness and the students' attachment to the values of the Prophet's biography.

The festival, attended by Governorate Mobilization Official Abdul Fattah Ghallab, Education Sector Official Mohammed Al-Ghazali, education sector leaders, supervisors, teachers, and students' parents, featured chanting and cultural performances and purposeful sketches presented by the students. The performances addressed aspects of the Prophet's biography and its values of faith, steadfastness, giving, and sacrifice, alongside a collective student presentation that demonstrated the level of preparation, organization, and engagement with the occasion.

The Governorate Mobilization Official praised the level of attendance, organization, and broad participation in the festival, stressing that commemorating the Prophet's birthday provides an opportunity to recall the Noble Prophet's life and draw inspiration from his principles and values in everyday life, while renewing attachment to the community's faith-based and cultural identity.

He highlighted the importance of educational institutions playing their role in instilling Muhammadan values in the younger generation, raising awareness of the nation's history and the Prophet's biography, and translating the meaning of emulating the Messenger of Allah into practical conduct based on responsibility, solidarity, patience, and steadfastness.

Ghallab affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is an educational and faith-based occasion that strengthens community unity and cohesion and renews commitment to the principles and values brought by the Noble Prophet. He called on residents of the governorate to actively participate in the central event scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal and demonstrate the significance of the occasion in a manner befitting it.

For his part, the Governorate Education Sector Official stressed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday in educational institutions provides an important opportunity to introduce younger generations to the life, morals, and positions of the Noble Prophet and reinforce the values of emulating him in learning, work, conduct, and interactions with others.

He explained that the educational message of the occasion is not limited to celebratory activities but extends to building a generation aware of its responsibilities, committed to Muhammadan values, and able to draw guidance, awareness, and inspiration from the life of the Prophet. He praised the efforts of schools and educational complexes in organizing meaningful programs and activities for the occasion.

Head of the Guidance and Curricula Division Abdulrahman Al-Habri highlighted the greatness of the religious occasion and its place in the hearts of the Yemeni people, noting that celebrating the birth of the best of creation reflects the depth of their attachment to the Noble Prophet and provides younger generations with an opportunity to draw lessons from his noble biography and reinforce Muhammadan values in educational and community environments.

Al-Habri commended the efforts of the complex's administration, teaching staff, and students in preparing for the festival and the meaningful performances that demonstrated their awareness of and interest in the occasion.

For her part, Director of Al-Saeed Educational Complex Faiza Al-Ba'dani said the festival was organized as part of the programs and activities carried out by the complex to commemorate the Prophet's birthday and to involve female students in educational and cultural activities that enhance their knowledge of the Prophet's biography and connect them with the values and morals embodied by the Noble Prophet throughout his life.

She praised the strong engagement shown by the students and the teaching and administrative staff, affirming that the performances presented during the festival reflected a spirit of cooperation and teamwork and contributed to presenting the occasion in a meaningful educational and cultural manner. She expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success and preparation of the event.

The festival concluded with a collective student presentation by the complex's female students, featuring the 'Tala'a al-Badru 'Alayna' chant and prayers and blessings upon the Noble Prophet, in a festive atmosphere reflecting engagement with the Prophet's birthday and its significance in the popular and educational consciousness.
