Attorney General Examines Judicial Progress in Hodeida

Hodeida: The Attorney General, Judge Abdulsalam Al-Houthi, conducted an inspection of the prosecution offices in Al Hodeida Province. The visit aimed to assess the workflow and enhance judicial performance across the province's legal institutions.

According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Al-Houthi's visit included stops at the governorate's Court of Appeal and several primary courts. During these visits, he met with Judge Ahmed Al-Jarmouzi, the president of the court, and other heads and judges of the primary courts. The meetings focused on improving cooperation and coordination between the prosecution offices and the courts to enhance judicial performance.

Judge Al-Houthi also evaluated the performance of various prosecution offices. He held discussions with key judicial figures such as Judge Amin Al-Qarni, the Appeal Prosecution Head, Judge Muthahar Al-Jamrah, the Public Funds Prosecution Head, and Judge Ahmed Al-Shami, the Head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution, along with deputies and members of the primary prosecution offices. The discussions revolved around discipline levels, work mechanisms, and procedures for managing cases referred to the courts.

During his tour of the prosecution departments, offices, and information centers, the Attorney General urged prosecutors and staff to intensify their efforts, work collaboratively, expedite case resolutions, and adhere to regulations and judicial directives. He emphasized the importance of simplifying procedures and maintaining a high standard of judicial discipline.

The visit concluded with Judge Al-Houthi honoring Major Zain Al-Abidin Ali Al-Amri, the Director of Al-Zaydiyah District Police, with a certificate of appreciation. This recognition was given for Major Al-Amri's exceptional performance and cooperation with the prosecution in judicial enforcement.
