Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning anticipates cold weather and a noticeable drop in temperatures across the highlands, plateaus, and deserts over the next 48 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin from the center forecasts cold conditions during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, and Al Bayda, with minimum temperatures predicted to range between 04 – 06 degrees Celsius.
The report also suggests that relatively cold weather will affect the highlands of Al Jawf, Marib, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Al Dhale’e, and parts of the desert regions, where minimum temperatures are expected to be between 07 – 12 degrees Celsius. The center has highlighted a significant temperature drop anticipated in these areas over the next 48 hours.
The lowest temperatures recorded at some weather stations this morning included 4 degrees in Amran, 4.3 in Al Bayda, 4.5 in Dhamar, and 5 in Sana’a. The center has issued a warning to citizens, pa
rticularly targeting the elderly, children, patients, and those working during the night and early morning hours, advising them to take necessary precautions against the cold weather conditions.
