Sanaa: The Women's Authority in Sanaa province today organized a closing ceremony for the summer scout school competitions for girls in Sanaa and Al Mahwit provinces as part of concluding the summer activities and programs for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the final competition involved 36 female students from five districts of Sanaa and Al Mahwit provinces. A scout and symbolic presentation was given by the participants, showcasing the level of discipline, awareness, and skills they acquired during their time at the centers. The event featured expressive performance segments and tableaus, embodying the high level of knowledge and learning achieved by the students, including a tableau with illuminated lamps symbolizing the light of knowledge and the Quran, dispelling the darkness of ignorance and misguidance.

The performances also included a large model of the noble Quran, accompanied by recitation of verses from the holy remembrance, affirming the generation's connection to the Holy Quran. Through these tableaus, the girls reflected values of loyalty and connection to symbols and sanctities, presenting slogans embodying occasions such as the Prophet's birthday, the birthday of Lady Fatima Al Zahra, loyalty to the leader martyr Sayyed Hussein Badr Al Din Al Houthi, and the righteous martyrs of the nation.

Participants raised the flags of the resistance axis countries-Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran-to affirm the nation's solidarity in facing global arrogance and supporting the Palestinian cause as a central issue for the rising generation. Bani Hishash district won first place in the competition, which included districts from both provinces, with distinction for Al Zahra Al Hawra School, while Jihanah came second and Sanhan third.

The speeches at the event highlighted the competition as a fruitful outcome of the summer courses, with hopes for building a conscious generation armed with knowledge and fortified against misguidance and submission. They emphasized the nation's aspirations for a generation shaped by the Quran and faith education to confront challenges and destructive ideas, underlining the role of women in building a Quranic generation to protect society from misguided cultures.
