Damt: The Al-Bakili neighborhood in the Damt district of Al-Dhale' governorate organized a cultural evening to commemorate the Prophet's birthday anniversary, peace be upon him and his family. The event was graced by the attendance of the governorate's mobilization official, Ahmed Al-Marani.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches delivered during the evening emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday helps reinforce the Yemeni people's connection to their faith-based identity. Historically, Yemenis have adhered to the path of the greatest Messenger, using it as a foundation to confront forces of injustice and arrogance. The speakers highlighted that this adherence has made Yemen a significant factor in the confrontation equation with aggressors.
The speakers also emphasized the importance of recalling the biography and message of the noble Prophet. They stressed that the Prophet's teachings transformed the Arabian Peninsula and influenced the wider world. The values, principles, and character traits exemplified by the Prophet were encouraged to be emulated by the nation.
The cultural evening was further enriched by choral segments, poetic verses, and expressive folkloric performances, adding to the spirit of the celebration.
