Cultural Evenings Held in Ma’een District of Capital Secretariat on Anniversary of Prophet’s Birth

Ma'een district: Ma'een District in the Capital Secretariat witnessed cultural evenings on Wednesday as part of preparations to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, with broad official and popular participation. Residents of several neighborhoods organized the events, which highlighted the significance of the occasion and its place in the hearts of local communities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the evenings were attended by Capital Secretariat Secretary Dr. Hamoud Abbad, Shura Council member Khaled Al-Siyaghi, and other officials, community leaders, sheikhs, social figures, cultural activists, and residents. Speakers stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth anniversary as an occasion to strengthen love for and attachment to the Prophet and to draw inspiration from his life and values, particularly compassion, solidarity, cooperation, generosity, and good conduct.

They also called for broader community participation in the celebrations and urged residents of Ma'een District to attend the central Mawlid event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square, reflecting their love and attachment to the Prophet. The speakers praised the efforts of neighborhood residents and community leaders in organizing the cultural evenings and highlighted the strong official and popular participation in Mawlid activities.
