Cultural Evenings in Hajjah Commemorating Martyrdom of Imam Ali, Day of Furqan

Hajjah: Cultural evenings were held in the Hajjah Governorate center and several of its districts to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the Day of Al-Furqan.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events took place in various areas including Al-Rat'ah, Al-Marwi, and Al-Qal'ah in the governorate center; Bani 'Abous and Hamid in the Shar's district; Janbi Al-Yaman and Al-Sham in the Ash-Shahal district; Beit Al-Ghubli in the Al-Mahabishah district; as well as in the Kushar district; Al-Hanak Ras Hayran; Nid Miqar; Al-Rahiyah; Hayran Aal Al-Ashram; Al-Hayjah; Kawlat Farwan in the Qarah district; Sharqi Al-Khamisin in Khayran Al-Muharraq; 'Al-'Akmah in the Al-Miftah district; Al-Hawarith in the Washhah district; Gharb Mustaba'; and the Haradh district.

The speeches delivered at these gatherings emphasized the importance of sincere allegiance to Allah, His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the guiding lights of Islam. They reviewed the life of Imam Ali, highlighting his struggle, courage, and sacrifices in defending authentic Muhammadan Islam, and his support for the Prophet.

Additionally, the significance of commemorating the Battle of Badr was addressed, underscoring the importance of sincere allegiance to Allah and unwavering faith in the victory for those who strive in His cause. Lessons from Imam Ali's sacrifices were discussed, with a focus on following his righteous path and emulating his morals and character.

Furthermore, the speeches emphasized understanding Imam Ali's personality, virtues, asceticism, and piety. They also highlighted the necessity of adhering to the Muhammadan path and the way of the Prophet's family, pledging allegiance to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, particularly in light of the current circumstances facing the country.

The gatherings called for encouraging youth participation in summer programs post-Eid al-Fitr, continuing mobilization efforts for the upcoming confrontation with the Zionist-American enemy, and ensuring broad participation in International Quds Day this coming Friday.

The events were attended by Deputy Governor Ahmed al-Akhfash, officials from the education and guidance sectors, district directors, and numerous social, mobilization, and local figures.
