Cultural Events Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday in Hamdan District

Sana'a: The local authority and General Mobilization, in collaboration with the Neighborhood Affairs Department in Hamdan District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a series of cultural events and evening gatherings to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events took place in the southern and northern Shamlan areas, as well as the villages of Al-Madawer and Al-Hattab, Shaab Al-Muzayyin, and the neighborhoods of Western Shamlan, Imam Ali, Ablas, and Bab Al-Omari in Shamlan. During the gatherings, speakers emphasized the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth as a means of strengthening resilience against perceived adversaries and encouraged public participation in the central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.

The speakers highlighted that observing this religious occasion serves to reinforce the values and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. They encouraged individuals to follow his example as a guiding figure who led his followers toward enlightenment, justice, and truth.

The celebrations were portrayed as a spiritual occasion to draw lessons from the Prophet's life, deepen commitment to religious teachings, renew loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, and bolster solidarity and mutual support. Participants were urged to take serious action to counteract aggression plans.
