Ma'in: The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor for the Social Care Sector, Mohammed Oqabat, today inspected the damage caused by the fire that broke out in the displaced persons camp in Ma'in district of the Capital Sanaa. During the visit, Deputy Minister Oqabat listened to an explanation about the urgent needs of the affected families and the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister Oqabat noted the efforts of emergency teams and relevant authorities working to follow up on the situation and assess the damage to ensure a rapid response and provide necessary support to those affected. He stressed the importance of enhancing safety procedures to prevent such incidents from recurring.
The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs also reviewed the arrangements for supplies to be provided to the displaced, including tents and shelter baskets. He praised the efforts of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society for its work in this regard.
