Discussing Water Project Needs of Wald Ayash Area in Sa’ada

Sa'ada: A meeting was held today in Sa'ada Governorate, chaired by Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad, to discuss the needs of residents in the Wald Ayash area of Haidan District for rural water projects.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Deputy Governor Mohammed Baydan, Director of the Rural Water Projects Authority branch in the governorate Eng. Adel Shathan, Head of the Central Interventions Unit in the governorate Abdulrab Al-Qadhi, and representatives of ACTED, Islamic Relief, and DRC. The participants reviewed the wells that have been drilled in the area by the Central Interventions Unit and discussed the mechanism for completing the project.

Governor Awad and Deputy Governor Baydan emphasized the importance of connecting the water network to the villages and subdistricts of Wald Ayash in cooperation with the Rural Water Projects Authority and the Central Interventions Unit. They expressed their readiness to provide all necessary facilities to deliver water to the area, aiming to alleviate the suffering of residents under the current circumstances facing the country.
