Sana'a: A meeting of the offices of the General Authority for Zakat and the Health and Environment Authority in Sana'a Governorate discussed procedures for implementing charitable activities and surgical medical camps to coincide with the anniversary of the Prophet's birth (1448 AH). The meeting focused on organizing and executing these activities to provide necessary medical assistance to the local population.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting approved the establishment of surgical camps in a number of hospitals throughout the governorate. These camps will specialize in general surgery, offering procedures such as hernia repair, gallbladder removal, hemorrhoids, fistulas, foreign bodies, sigmoid cysts, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgery. The initiative aims to improve access to medical care for residents and address pressing health concerns in the community.
