Jabal al-mahwit: A speech evening was held today in the Al-Gharbi Al-Asfal isolate, Jabal Al-Mahwit District, commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the Head of the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch in the governorate, Ibrahim Al-Ghuwaidi. The Mobilization official of the district, Mohammed Al-Marwi, emphasized the importance of commemorating this significant religious occasion. He highlighted the need to draw lessons from the prophetic biography and embody the values and principles conveyed by the Muhammadan message.
Al-Marwi praised the efforts of the isolate's residents in preparing and organizing the evening, noting that celebrating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets reflects his deeply rooted status in the hearts of the nation's people. He mentioned that such celebrations enhance awareness of the Prophet's message, which is based on guidance, justice, mercy, and support for the oppressed.
He urged the district's residents to actively participate and turn out in large numbers for the central Mawlid al-Nabawi event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. This, he stated, would reflect the greatness of the occasion and its significance among the Yemeni people.
The evening was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch, Fares Al-Wali, along with directors of several executive office branches. The event featured expressive chanting and poetic segments, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
