Educational Sector in Hajjah Hosts Event for Martyrs’ Commemoration

Hajjah: The educational sector in Hajjah governorate organized an event on Monday marking the annual commemoration of martyrs for the year 1447 AH. The event was attended by Governor Hilal al-Sufi, province undersecretary Ahmed al-Akhfash, and officials including Hamoud al-Maghrabi and Ali Al-Qutaib from the education sector.



According to Yemen News Agency, the Dean of the University of Quranic Sciences branch, Abdullah Miyah, highlighted the high status of martyrs with Allah, emphasizing that martyrdom is the greatest weapon against enemies, granting eternal reward and divine favor to those chosen by God. Miyah noted that caring for the children and families of martyrs extends beyond the commemoration itself, representing continuous support in recognition of their sacrifices in defending God, religion, and the homeland.



He stressed that commemorating martyrs inspires determination, sacrifice, steadfastness, and commitment to the values for which they gave their lives. The dean also called for ongoing marches, gatherings, and supportive activities for the oppressed, reaffirming the importance of mobilization, training, and readiness for any challenges in defense of Islam and the nation.
