Hajjah: An expanded meeting of scholars and preachers from Hajjah Governorate was held under the slogan "Muslim Unity to Support Gaza and Confront the Enemies of the Ummah-America and Israel-is a Religious Duty."
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, Mobilization Official Hamoud Al-Maghribi, as well as the heads of the Appeal Court and Prosecution, Judge Hussein Al-Houthi and Judge Abdullah Al-Ahmar. Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, expressed pride in participating in this scholarly and jihadist gathering in Hajjah, whose scholars have taken responsibility for "enjoining good and forbidding evil."
Sheikh Al-Khawlani questioned, "If one does not move to support the children and women of Gaza, when will they ever act?" emphasizing the importance of returning to Allah, who commanded the fighting of all polytheists and urged believers to fight and wage jihad in His cause. He highlighted the crucial role of scholars in unifying ranks, strengthening resilience, and raising awareness about confronting tyrants, child-killers, and the allies of Satan.
He stressed the necessity of utilizing pulpits and words in every place, as well as activating the economic boycott of American and Israeli goods and products. He noted that Yemen, despite its limited resources, has overcome all obstacles and continues to uphold a noble stance in support of Gaza.
Khaled Musa, another member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, stated that Gaza is being bombed by warplanes while its people are starved and deprived of water in full view of the world. He cited the stance of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him), the ally of the Quran, against corrupt scholars who sold Allah's verses for a petty price. He affirmed that those who do not stand with the oppressed in Gaza do not stand with the Book of Allah and are in grave danger.
A statement issued by the scholarly gathering, read by the Director of the Endowments Office, Mohammed Aishan, emphasized the obligation of Muslim unity in support of Gaza, Palestine, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. He considered unity and holding firmly to the rope of God a personal religious duty (fard 'ayn) upon all Muslims, especially during this exceptional historical phase.
The statement condemned the ongoing massacres and the crimes of genocide and starvation committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza, including the use of aid distribution centers-managed by an American company-as traps to kill starving Palestinians. The scholars of Hajjah governorate held the surrounding Arab states and their peoples primarily accountable before God for the deadly siege and starvation inflicted on Gaza.
The statement denounced the Arab and Islamic betrayal, which emboldens the Zionist enemy and encourages further crimes. It described the trillions of dollars in Arab money paid to the infidel Trump during his recent visit to the Arabian Gulf as funding for the American-Israeli aggression against the axis of jihad, Quds, resistance, and the peoples of the Islamic nation.
The scholars and preachers of Hajjah called on all scholars of the Islamic Ummah to fulfill their responsibility by clarifying the religious duty upon all Muslims-governments, peoples, and armies-to clearly condemn the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and all Islamic countries. They stressed that the religious duty obliges all Muslims to unite in stance against the Israeli and American enemies.
They warned against disgraceful hypocritical stances and misleading fatwas and statements, which amount to siding with the enemy and dividing the ranks of Muslims. The statement affirmed that the ongoing battles in Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen are a battle of truth versus falsehood, of Islam against disbelief-a single, indisputable, and unquestionable battle.
The statement praised the honorable, faithful, and principled stance of the Yemeni people and their blessed leadership, represented by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and the valiant armed forces supporting Gaza. It affirmed the necessity of preparation and readiness in confronting the enemies of Islam and humanity-the criminal Jews-and called on all residents of the governorate to join the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' training programs as the least duty to earn honor before God and before the children and women of Gaza.
The statement emphasized the importance of awareness and insight in this struggle against the enemies of the Ummah-America, Israel, and their allies-and the obligation of loyalty to the believers and disavowal of the enemies of the Ummah, namely America and Israel, with a clear and explicit declaration. It also stressed the importance of boycotting American and Israeli products, as well as their media and all those aligned with them.
