Sana'a: The General Union of Municipal Workers in the Capital Secretariat (Sana'a) organized a commemorative event on August 26, 2025, to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, head of the Social Affairs Committee, emphasized the significance of the occasion in drawing lessons of dignity, steadfastness, and resistance to oppression. He affirmed the unwavering commitment of Yemenis to the Prophet's path in defying aggression and praised the union's leadership and sanitation workers for their efforts in preparing for the central celebration.

Deputy Secretary for Municipal Affairs, Fadhl Al-Rouni, underscored the event's role in reinforcing resilience, values, and Quranic principles among future generations. Union president Mohammed Al-Marzouqi highlighted that celebrating the Prophet's birth reflects strong ties to Islamic identity and renews loyalty to the Messenger.

The gathering, which was attended by municipal leaders and sanitation sector workers, featured chants and performances expressing joy for the occasion.
