Inspect Level of Job Discipline in Ministry of Finance, Customs and Tax Departments

Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for the Control and Performance Evaluation Sector, Abdullah Haider, today inspected the level of employee discipline at the Ministry of Finance on the first day of official work following the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the two officials received a report from Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Jameel Al-Duais, and Director of Human Resources, Abdul Hamid Al-Kabsi. The report highlighted an attendance rate of approximately 95%. Additionally, the officials reviewed future projects aimed at improving performance and increasing revenues.

The Deputy Minister of Finance emphasized that this level of commitment indicates a dedication to providing quality services to citizens. In response, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service lauded the high performance of the ministry's employees and encouraged increased efforts to further develop work processes.

The Undersecretary also visited the Customs Department, where the attendance rate was reported at 96%. He received a report from the head of the department, Engineer Adel Margham, and the Director of Personnel Affairs, expressing his approval of the discipline displayed.

Similarly, at the Tax Department, the attendance rate also reached 96%. Haider was briefed by the Acting Head of the Department, Wahid Al-Kabsi, on the initiatives implemented to enhance performance and services. Haider commended the tax employees' discipline and urged for ongoing efforts to improve administrative and technical work efficiency.
