Inspection of Conditions of Cancer, Kidney Failure Patients at Al-Shafaqah Foundation

Sana'a: The Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, Dr. Fuad Naji, today provided financial assistance to cancer and kidney failure patients at Al-Shafaqah Foundation in the capital Sana'a, in celebration of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi), as part of the fifth phase of the project "And Cooperate in Righteousness and Piety," with a total cost of four billion riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, Naji, accompanied by the Authority's Deputy for the Mosques and Banks Sector, Ahmed Majli, inspected the health conditions, the level of health services provided, and the foundation's medical and health capabilities, as well as its urgent needs and requirements to ensure the continued provision of its humanitarian services to patients.

During the event held on the occasion, the Deputy Chairman of the Endowments and Guidance Authority explained that his visit to the foundation coincides with the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family), embodying the values of mercy and humanity that the Messenger of God established among Muslims.

He pointed out that the Authority, in the fifth phase of the "And Cooperate in Righteousness and Piety" project, aims to support and care for orphanages, provide assistance to cancer and kidney failure patients, people with special needs, and support numerous health, social, and educational fields, embodying the principles of compassion and solidarity enjoined by God Almighty and recommended by the Prophet of Mercy (PBUH).

The event, attended by a number of leaders from the Authority and the foundation, as well as social figures, featured poetic and chanting segments expressing the occasion. Following that, a lunch banquet was held for the patients residing at the foundation.
