Sana'a: Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Mujahid Ahmed emphasized the importance of sound planning methodologies over "chaos and randomness" at the conclusion of a training course focused on preparing and evaluating the operational plan for the year 1447 AH. Judge Mujahid urged the development of transformative projects in the upcoming year's plan that align with leadership priorities, the government's program, and the judicial reform plan for a complete digital transformation of the ministry and courts. He highlighted the need to complete financial and HR systems, focus on court infrastructure within budget, and prioritize training.
According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Mujahid underscored "digital transformation" as a crucial element in combating corruption, facilitating procedures, and improving court services. The Ministry has set ambitious goals for the real estate registry, digital documentation, prisoner rehabilitation, and prison infrastructure. The Minister also emphasized the importance of training court personnel and expressed hope that participants would apply their newly acquired knowledge. He described the course as the beginning of organized institutional work, reflecting the Ministry's commitment to strategic transformation and spending rationalization.
Judge Ahmed al-Kuhlani emphasized the necessity of linking operational plans to financial and strategic performance standards, ensuring alignment with resources, and creating plans that are measurable and reviewable for transparency and accountability. The course, attended by 40 employees, aimed to enhance administrative capabilities in preparing and evaluating operational plans to boost institutional performance and achieve strategic goals.
The lecturer, Judge Rashid al-Munifi, explained that the course aimed to formulate an annual operational plan that meets the ministry's ambitions and addresses past challenges. It serves as a foundation for the 1447 AH plan with unified visions and clear responsibilities.
