Meeting in Taiz Focuses on Establishing Salh Agricultural Cooperative Association

Taiz: A meeting in the Salh district of Taiz governorate, led by the Deputy Governor for Development Affairs, Abdulwasea Al Shamsi, focused on finalizing the procedures necessary to officially establish the Salh Agricultural Cooperative Association.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included key figures such as Engineer Abdullah Al Jundi, head of the agriculture sector in the governorate, Majed Al Barkani, director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Mohammed Al Hashimah, director of Salh district, Iyad Awahj, coordinator of the Bonyan Foundation, Amer Al Ahdal, executive director of the union branch, and Sadiq Al Hamidi, head of the association's preparatory committee. These stakeholders reviewed the steps required to inaugurate the association formally.

Deputy Governor Al Shamsi emphasized the vital role agricultural cooperative associations play in boosting the economic sector. By bringing together productive families, farmers, and innovators, and working with them through value chains, these associations are expected to enhance local production and improve living conditions.

In addition, Qaid Al Nahal, the Deputy Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, highlighted the preparatory committee's ongoing efforts to complete the necessary procedures for the association's declaration.

Furthermore, Mohammed Al Hashimah, director of Salh district, confirmed that the local authority is prepared to offer the necessary support and facilities for the establishment of the association.
