Sana'a: The leadership and employees of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Sana'a Governorate organized a protest vigil on Monday condemning the repeated insults against the Holy Quran, expressing support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, and showing solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the vigil raised slogans in support of the Quran and chanted against what they described as the arrogance of the Zionist entity and its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
A statement issued during the event, attended by the Executive Director of the Cleanliness Fund, Engineer Sami Al-Turabi, and his deputy Mohammed Al-Dawla, highlighted the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
The statement praised the positions of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause, and standing with them against what it described as the US- and British-backed Zionist war machine, while criticizing Arab and Islamic regimes for failing to fulfill their humanitarian and religious responsibilities toward the Palestinians.
The statement also condemned the repeated abuses and insults against the Holy Quran by what it referred to as global Zionism and its affiliates.
