Sana'a: The committee responsible for drafting international competition regulations in the exploration sectors at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals convened today under the leadership of Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir. The focus of the meeting was on completing the review and approval of the regulations in their final form to enhance the regulatory framework for exploration and investment in the oil and minerals sectors.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee progressed in its discussions concerning the final drafting of the regulations. They reviewed remaining articles and approved technical and legal amendments to ensure alignment with existing legislation, aiming to achieve the intended objectives of the regulations.
It was further agreed that the regulations will be presented to the committee post-amendments for the adoption of the final wording. This step follows the incorporation of observations approved in previous meetings, setting the regulations for issuance in their final form after necessary regulatory procedures are completed.
