Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects continued scattered thunderstorms across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that thunderstorms of varying intensity are likely to fall on the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Raymah, Dale'a, Dhamar, Hajjah, Mahwit, Amran, Shabwah, western Sa'ada, Sana'a, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected in parts of the governorates of Lahj, Dale'a, Bayda, Hadramaut, Mahrah, and parts of the western and eastern coasts. The center has issued warnings to citizens about the potential dangers of thunderstorms, including the risks associated with crossing or being in floodwaters during and after rainfall. Additional hazards include soil erosion, rockslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to low clouds or fog.
The center has advised taking necessary precautions against thunderstorms and emphasized the importance of staying away from unstable slopes.
