Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah participated Sunday in the launching of preparatory activities for the Fourth International Conference on the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), organized Sunday by the Charitable Association for Quranic Education.
According to Yemen News Agency, Miftah described the Fourth International Conference as an important initiative and occasion, a gathering with a significant impact whose resonance and scope will expand and whose light will spread year after year. He noted that preparations for the fourth edition of the conference have witnessed remarkable progress in organization, arrangements, and the quality of the participating literature.
Miftah emphasized that the Muslim community is in dire need of continuous gatherings to draw from the wellspring of mercy, "the Book of Allah and the path of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and all the prophets and messengers," because their paths and stories contain lessons and goodness for the Muslim community and all of humanity. He said, "The enemies of humanity, the Zionist system, want to lead us astray from sound nature and the divine path to a path of misguidance, Satan, and corruption on Earth."
Miftah emphasized that the nation is in dire need of a methodology and a project to confront this malicious, criminal project that aims to transform humanity into a commodity for wealth and domination, subservient to their satanic desires. He added, "Faced with this satanic criminality, we must unite our forces to confront this deluge and restore the divine path to our lives. The enemies target Islam because it is a project that brings good to humanity and is the only one capable of confronting them."
The acting prime minister continued, "We must advance in the field of technology and acquire the means of development in this area by directing scientific research, building upon the achievements of others, and striving to break the enemies' hegemony over information technology by all means. This is a religious duty and an absolute necessity for preserving our lives and our identity."
He stated that the younger generation needs protection and fortification from the cultural invasion and relentless targeting they face around the clock, along with efforts to equip them with the awareness necessary to confront these challenges and effectively convey their positive vision to humanity. Miftah explained that the danger targeting the nation lies not only in the military and economic spheres, but also in the manipulation of lives and minds by a malevolent system to serve its goals of complete control.
He emphasized the necessity of working diligently to improve the situation, considering the Great Prophet Conference an important occasion and opportunity to reiterate these issues. Miftah continued, saying, "Our project of confrontation should not be limited to the military, economic, and technological fields, but should encompass all aspects of life. We must mobilize our energies, abandon the culture of inactivity and dependence on others, and elevate the culture of work within society, striving for excellence in all our endeavors, including charitable works and cooperation among ourselves."
The Acting Prime Minister urged researchers in various fields to exert their utmost efforts to produce fruitful research with practical results that contribute to the development and progress of society and the nation, affirming that despite all the challenges, The situation is improving, and achievements are accumulating under a divinely guided leadership striving for the good and development of this country.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, emphasized the importance of the event in marking the beginning of a new phase of intellectual and research contributions with the launch of preparations for the Fourth International Conference on the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He explained that this event is not merely a scientific gathering, but a strategic milestone for strengthening and deepening the practical connection with the Seal of the Prophets and for solidifying the Prophetic and Quranic methodology in the consciousness and conduct of the nation.
Dr. Al-Duais considered previous editions of the conference a leading global platform that combined rigorous scientific research with insight into the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) as a way of life. He clarified that the conference does not simply study history, but rather, through research and studies, it analyzes the Prophet's character and his actions, guided by the Holy Quran, to confront the challenges of the age.
He stated that the vision guiding the conference transcends cultural and social aspects to encompass economic, political, educational, professional, security, military, and other dimensions, all aimed at building a strong nation, an independent economy, and achieving sustainable development in light of Prophetic values.
The Deputy Minister of Education emphasized that the nation's restoration of its glory lies in returning to its pure source and in focusing the efforts of researchers, academics, and educators on translating the research outputs of this conference and previous conferences into tangible scientific realities that serve society and the nation's major issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and supporting our brothers in Gaza, Lebanon, and everywhere suffering under the yoke of global Zionism and its American and Israeli arms.
He called upon the organizing committees and researchers to make the fourth edition of the conference exceptional in its aims and outcomes, ensuring it does not remain confined to theoretical academic research but rather addresses people's concerns and aspirations in light of current circumstances.
At the event, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Charitable Association for Teaching the Holy Quran, Abdulrahman Al-Afad, the conference chairman, Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, invited researchers and academics from within and outside Yemen, as well as those in educational institutions and research centers, both domestic and international, to submit their research and findings related to the seven conference themes: economic, cultural and social, political and administrative, media, educational, and pedagogical. The industrial and professional sectors, as well as the security and military axis.
He emphasized the necessity for the scientific research papers submitted to the conference to adhere to the established scientific principles and standards for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas stated that the primary sources for these papers are the Holy Quran, the lectures of the martyred leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the lectures and speeches of the leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He noted that the selection and awarding of these papers across various themes will be conducted through a professional and academic process overseen by the judging committees.
He expressed his gratitude to all the researchers, academic institutions, and research centers that contributed to the success of the previous three editions of the International Conference on the Great Prophet. He added, "We urge everyone to actively participate in the fourth edition of the conference, especially Sana'a University and other universities, and to ensure their significant presence and participation." He also expressed his appreciation to the president and members of the Charitable Association for Quranic Education for their efforts in preparing and organizing the International Conference on the Great Prophet.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, President of Sana'a University and a member of the conference's supervisory committee, explained that universities and educational institutions compete to host scientific conferences in various fields due to their importance in serving society and advancing the nation's progress. He urged researchers and academics, particularly at Sana'a University and other universities and educational and research institutions, to pay close attention to the conference and strive to ensure their research is distinguished, insightful, and profound, given its focus on a rich and diverse field that draws its ideas from the Prophetic school of thought.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the necessity for the conference to serve as a strong response to those who deliberately and repeatedly insult the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He pointed to the critical need for such gatherings so that researchers can draw upon the religion of God and the example of His prophets, whose stories God has made a source of lessons and a good example for nations and peoples.
Meanwhile, Dhaifallah Al-Shami, another member of the conference's supervisory committee, considered the conference an important academic event where researchers and academics are keen to present the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in a way that is relevant to practical realities. He explained that holding such conferences stems from divine guidance emulating the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in practical life, across all fields and disciplines.
Al-Shami pointed out that the Prophet was not merely a devout worshipper in his mosque issuing commands and directives without practical implementation. Rather, he was an exceptional military leader and a highly skilled economist who actively engaged in various aspects of life, attending to the needs of the people and striving to guide them. He said, "When the vision and objectives of the conference emanate from the spirit of the Holy Quran and the lessons of its guidance, it means we want to translate the Prophet's life into practical action, transforming it into concrete strategies. This is especially important given that the Yemeni people today, in their practical, political, military, and social lives, and in all aspects of their existence, are operating within the framework of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) methodology."
Al-Shami emphasized the necessity of translating the research and studies presented at the conference and elsewhere into practical, field-based plans and strategies. He pointed out that following the methodology of the Prophet Muhammad, as exemplified by the Yemeni people today under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has achieved remarkable results and prevented the Zionist and American enemies from using the Red Sea to target the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon. He added, "Didn't the destroyer (George W. Bush) have to return
