Hajjah: The Mawlid Al-Nabi football tournaments, orchestrated by the Youth and Sports Office branches across various districts in tandem with the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, are making strides in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Sinwar and Tufan teams emerged victorious in Aflah Al-Sham District, securing their spots in the tournament final by defeating Al-Qassam 2-1 and Al-Suqour 7-1, respectively. The tournament's organizing committee, with participation from four teams, will announce the date for the final match in due course.
In other tournament developments, the Al-Afriqi team from Abs District triumphed over the Shabab Talan team from Kaidna District with a score of 2-1 during the round of 16 in the Mawlid Al-Nabi Al-Sharif tournament.
Meanwhile, in Bani Qais District, Al-Ahrar achieved a draw against Al-Wahda Al-Shamalia with a 1-1 scoreline, while Sumoud Al-Rass secured a 2-0 victory over Aswad Mahal Aman. In Khairan Al-Muhraq District's semi-finals, Al-Suqour Al-Marajim from Bani Masrouh convincingly defeated Suqour Bani Hamla with a 6-0 score.
