Red Crescent in Hodeida Concludes Distribution of 2,000 Eid Clothes for Needy

Hodeida: The Yemeni Red Crescent – Hodeida branch has concluded a project aimed at distributing 2,000 Eid clothes to impoverished families across several districts of the province. This initiative was funded by the Youth Development Association.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project operated under the slogan “Clothe them, God will enrich you,” and reached the districts of Al-Hawk, Al-Mina, Al-Durayhimi, and Al-Tuhayta. It specifically targeted children aged two to twelve by providing new clothes and Eid supplies, with the goal of spreading joy as Eid Al-Fitr approaches.

Jaber Al-Razhi, the Executive Director of the Yemeni Red Crescent in Hodeida, stated that the project is part of broader humanitarian efforts aimed at promoting social solidarity. He acknowledged the role of supporting parties in alleviating the hardships faced by needy families.

Al-Razhi further explained that this clothing distribution is one of many humanitarian programs the Yemeni Red Crescent implements in partnership with local and international organizations. The objective is to offer relief and support services to the most vulnerable families in the governorate.

Beneficiaries of the project expressed their gratitude, noting that the initiative brought happiness to their children amid challenging economic conditions.
