Sana'a: The Acting Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Miftah, visited Sana'a International Airport today to review the extent of the damage inflicted on the airport by the criminal Saudi aggression yesterday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Acting Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, the Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhayti, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, and the Airport Director General, Khaled Al-Shayef, inspected the damage to the aircraft takeoff and landing runways, as well as the collateral damage to the airport building.

He listened to a briefing from Minister Qahim on the efforts being made by the Ministry to repair and restore the damaged sections as soon as possible, affirming that the blatant Saudi aggression will only increase the Yemeni people's determination, steadfastness, and resilience in ending the aggression and siege and reclaiming all their legitimate rights.

In a media statement, the Acting Prime Minister condemned the criminal and cowardly Saudi aggression, which adds to the record of unprecedented violations and crimes in human history committed by the American-Saudi aggression coalition and the comprehensive genocide war over 12 years.

He explained that the crime was aimed at the national delegation participating in the funeral of the martyred leader Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Khamenei, in addition to passengers stranded abroad, including patients and students.

Scholar Miftah affirmed that the Saudi regime has no regard for Yemen's sovereignty; rather, it is one of the greatest violators of sovereignty and criminals against the Yemeni people and their livelihood, both in the past and present, and is targeting their future.

He pointed out that the mercenaries who claim to champion Yemen's sovereignty, along with the Saudi regime, are the ones who placed Yemen under guardianship, committed the most heinous crimes in its history over the past years, caused its destruction, and claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of its sons.

The Acting Prime Minister emphasized that preparations to confront the Saudi regime-which has not and will not hesitate to continue its aggression-are ongoing and continuous. He affirmed that the Yemeni people will not accept the continuation of the aggression, siege, and suffocation imposed by the Zionist system and its tools in the region, explaining that steps to break the siege are proceeding and will not be abandoned.

He renewed his thanks and appreciation for the stance of the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran and their efforts to break the siege imposed on Yemen, as well as their important initiative. He also extended his thanks to the captain and crew of the aircraft who, despite the risks, safely delivered the delegation and passengers to their homeland.

Scholar Miftah expressed his gratitude to the technical teams that immediately began repairing the airport, as an extension of repeated maintenance operations in the past due to the ongoing targeting of the airport, describing them as loyal and devoted soldiers to their community and country.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Information affirmed that the Yemeni people have not and will not break under the unjust Saudi aggression, and through their steadfastness and cohesion over the past years, they have managed to defeat the aggression and achieve victory.

He noted that the national media system continues to confront hostile media empires and the mercenary propaganda machines, and continues to expose their lies, false claims, and misleading approaches.
