Amran: The students from schools in Ayal Suraih and Thula districts of Amran Governorate held scout parades on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth under the slogan, 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, a scout parade was held for graduates of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses under the supervision of the governorate's Education Sector, Ayal Suraih District, and the mobilization authority, in coordination with the Civil Defense Authority branch in the governorate. In the presence of Education Sector official Abdulrahman Al-Emad, the graduates chanted songs and slogans expressing their joy, love, and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad and their commitment to following his example.
A major scout parade was also held in Thula District, attended by Deputy Education Sector official Saleh Al-Zafni, Education Sector Training Division Head Ali Al-Alaki, and Thula Education Director Naji Al-Dali. The participating students expressed their pride and strong attachment to the Prophet of Mercy, whom Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds.
In their remarks, Al-Emad and Al-Zafni stressed the importance of such activities and scout parades in raising students' faith-based awareness, strengthening their abilities and skills, preparing them to assume responsibility and face challenges, and teaching them security and safety procedures through courses organized by the Civil Defense Authority branch in the governorate. They called on everyone to mobilize for the major central event scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
Meanwhile, the education directors of Ayal Suraih and Thula districts, Hani Al-Dula'i and Naji Al-Dali, highlighted the importance of commemorating the occasion through various activities in schools and neighborhoods, expressing joy, and strengthening students' and young people's connection with the Prophet, emulating his morals, values, noble biography, and following his righteous path.
