Shabab Bir Aydh Triumphs in Late Sheikh Aydh Al-Suwadi Championship

Amran: Shabab Bir Aydh team won the title of the Ramadan championship held in honor of the late Sheikh Aydh Al-Suwadi, organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate. The team secured the title of the tournament, which lasted two weeks and featured eight teams, after defeating Saqour Al-Boun 1-0 in the final match held today at Bir Aydh Stadium in Jabal Ayal Yazid district.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the closing ceremony, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, Abdullah Al-Wadaei, the district director Samir Al-Dhayani, Sheikh Bashir Al-Jassami, and the Director of the Jabal Education Office, Mansour Al-Dhawi, honored Shabab Bir Aydh with the championship trophy, while Saqour Al-Boun received the runner-up cup.

Individual awards were also presented: Arafat Al-Arhabi, defender of Shabab Bir Aydh, was named Best Player; Waleed Mufleh won Best Goalkeeper; and Hassan Al-Makhadhi was the tournament's top scorer with five goals. Participants, organizers, and supporters were also honored with awards in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the tournament's success, along with recognition of the cultural team that won the competitions accompanying the Ramadan league.
