Sana'a: Tribal efforts have succeeded in resolving a murder dispute between the Al-Kais and Al-Jaki families in Qaru Al-Ulya area of Al-Tayyal District, Sana'a Province, which had lasted for ten years.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the tribal reconciliation ceremony attended by Sana'a Deputy Governor Abdullah Al-Abyadh and Governor's Advisor Yahya Al-Mu'ayyadi, the family of the victim, Jamal Saleh Al-Kais, announced a full pardon and waiver for the accused, Ahmed Mahyoub Al-Jaki, in the name of Allah.
The move came in response to calls by Ansarullah leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to end revenge cases, tribal disputes, heal divisions, and strengthen social unity.
Officials stressed the importance of promoting forgiveness, resolving conflicts peacefully, and preserving social cohesion. Attendees praised the Al-Kais family's act of forgiveness and commended the mediation efforts that led to the settlement.
