Sanaa: The Office of the General Authority for Zakat in the Capital Sanaa organized a workshop today for employees of the Banks and Finance Department. The event focused on the mechanisms for disbursing financial aid to beneficiaries through the Authority's financial transfer system.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was attended by Jamal Al-Humairi, Advisor to the President of the Authority, and Mohammed Al-Olofi, Director of the Authority's Office in the Secretariat. It reviewed the most recent updates to the financial transfer system, which enable more efficient transfer and financial disbursement operations by integrating with approved financial entities and bank agent networks.
The workshop also covered mechanisms for executing financial transfers and monitoring disbursement procedures, aimed at accelerating transaction processing and expanding options for beneficiaries to receive aid. It addressed aspects of information security and data confidentiality, emphasizing the system's ability to protect beneficiary transfers, ensuring the confidentiality of financial data, and enhancing trust in disbursement procedures.
Al-Olofi highlighted that the financial transfer system marks a significant step in increasing efficiency, facilitating the disbursement process, and improving the quality of financial performance to assist the poor and needy.
