Yemeni Ministry Warns of Severe Consequences for Saudi Actions

Sanaa:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a warning regarding the ongoing aggression by the Saudi regime, stating that the principle of reciprocity will influence the military response at this stage.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry highlighted the significant casualties and infrastructural damage in Yemen since the attack on Sanaa Airport earlier this year. It emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces feel compelled to respond to these aggressive acts.

The statement also criticized the Saudi regime for ignoring repeated demands to lift the blockade and cease attacks on Sanaa International Airport over the past 12 years, including calls from the United Nations. The Ministry argued that ending the blockade and hostile activities would be more beneficial to Saudi Arabia than continuing its current path, which could lead to strategic damage.

Airlines flying to Saudi Arabia were advised to coordinate with the Yemeni Humanitarian Operations Center to avoid legal and moral repercussions. The Ministry also accused Qatar of complicity in the conflict through its political and media actions, urging Qatar to reassess its stance and role in the regional dynamics.

Furthermore, the Ministry criticized the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen for their perceived failure to address Saudi actions, suggesting that their stance allows for the legitimization of Saudi crimes in Yemen.

The statement concluded with a stern warning that if Saudi Arabia does not change its course, the future consequences will be severe, marked by significant challenges for the Saudi regime. The Ministry also noted the international community's lack of concern over the militarization of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which it views as indicative of the true intentions behind the criticisms of Yemen's sovereignty.
