Muscat: The head of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, has called for a unified Arab and Islamic strategy to challenge Israeli expansionist policies. This call to action was made during his speech at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit, emphasizing the need for collective measures to address regional hegemonic ambitions.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, President Al-Alimi outlined a strategic plan comprising three main components. The foremost focus is on achieving a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue, grounded in international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
He further emphasized the importance of bolstering national institutions across political, economic, and security domains, alongside a collective effort to counter armed terrorist groups. The third component of his strategy involves deterring states with expansionist agendas, specifically highlighting Israel, while promoting greater Arab and Islamic integration.
