Sana'a: On this day, September 16, the warplanes of the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition launched a series of airstrikes targeting residential areas, civilian facilities, transport trucks, and water barriers, leading to significant civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. According to Yemen News Agency, on September 16, 2015, four airstrikes in Dhamar Governorate resulted in 18 citizens being martyred and 14 others injured, including two children and a woman. The areas of Duran Anas and Khashran in Jahran District were heavily impacted. Additionally, multiple airstrikes in Sharq city led to further injuries. In Taiz Governorate, airstrikes in Bir Basha resulted in casualties and widespread destruction. The following year, on September 16, 2016, an airstrike in Sana'a Governorate's Khawlan District martyred 15 citizens. In Marib Governorate, an airstrike on a home in Sirwah District resulted in the deaths of five citizens, including children.
