Sana'a: On this day, March 3, a series of air raids by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition targeted various governorates, deploying cluster bombs that resulted in casualties and widespread destruction of public and private property.
According to Yemen News Agency, the attacks on March 3, 2016, claimed the lives of three citizens, injured others, and caused significant damage. The aggression aircraft targeted the house of citizen Azzi Jubran in Al-Nazir area of Razeh district in Saada governorate, along with several other locations, including Jiyash agricultural market, the Republican Palace, and the village of Qafee in Haidan district. Further raids on markets and homes caused extensive property damage in various areas.
The aggression continued with attacks on Taiz city, where two citizens were killed and numerous homes were damaged. The aircraft also targeted the Al-Hawban and Airport area, leading to further destruction. Additionally, raids on Yakhtal area near Al-Mocha city damaged fishermen's boats and date farms.
In Sana'a governorate, more than 15 raids were launched on Nehm district, causing severe damage to agricultural lands and homes. The aggression aircraft also targeted Ali Nasser Al-Nuaimi's house in Malh area and launched raids on Jabal Al-Sama in Arhab district, damaging sheep pastures.
On March 3, 2017, five citizens were killed and ten others injured due to raids on Al-Baraka area in Saada city. The aircraft also launched cluster raids on various locations, resulting in civilian casualties, including the death of a young girl and injuries to others.
The aggression continued to inflict damage across multiple governorates, with raids destroying homes, schools, and agricultural lands. In Hodeida and Taiz, shelling from mercenaries further exacerbated the destruction, causing significant damage to properties and infrastructure.
The attacks on March 3, 2018, saw further loss of life and property damage, particularly in Taiz and Saada governorates. Saudi shelling and air raids continued to target civilian areas, resulting in casualties, including women and children.
The aggression persisted over the subsequent years, with each anniversary marked by continued air raids and shelling across various regions. The relentless assaults have led to significant loss of life, injuries, and destruction of homes and livelihoods, affecting countless civilians.
